為加強本校學士班學生(來自英語系國家之外籍學籍生除外)達到校訂英文基本能力(達CEFR B1程度)，特訂定靜宜大學校訂英文能力畢業條件配套措施實施要點（20250521教務會議修正通過（請見以下備註）），國際學生（含外籍生及僑生）請詳閱外語教學中心首頁上方「境外生專區」--校訂英文能力畢業條件之說明。114學年度起入學之非英語系國家之外籍學生亦需符合校訂英文能力畢業條件規定。若於入學前取得正式英檢證書或者成績單，以申請日前二年內取得始為有效。英檢達CEFR B1之申請者本人須檢附英檢證書或成績單之正本及影本至外語教學中心(文興樓 419）並現場填寫申請[英文畢業門檻登錄] ，經核驗後, 即完成校訂英文能力畢業條件認定。相關配套措施請詳見實施要點。 

備註：此校訂實施要點適用本校學士班學生（英國語文學系、寰宇外語教育學士學位學程、寰宇管理學士學位學程、智慧媒體與創新科技應用學士學位學程之學生除外，此四系/學程已另訂系訂英文能力規定）

To strengthen the English proficiency of undergraduate students at Providence University (excluding international students from English-speaking countries), Providence University English Proficiency Graduation Requirements and Supporting Measures were established and amended at the Academic Affairs meeting on May 21, 2025 (see NOTE below). International students (including foreign and overseas Chinese students) should carefully read the information provided in the “International Students Section” on the homepage of the Foreign Language Center regarding the University’s prescribed English proficiency graduation requirements.

Degree-seeking international students from non-English speaking countries enrolling in/after the 114^th Academic Year (2025/26) are also required to meet the University’s prescribed English proficiency graduation requirements.

If an applicant has obtained an official English proficiency test certificate or transcript within the two years prior to the application date, it will be considered valid. Applicants who have reached CEFR B1 level must submit both the original and a photocopy of the certificate or transcript to the Foreign Language Center (Room 419, Bishop Kupfer Hall) and complete the on-site application for [Registration of English Graduation Requirements]. Upon verification, they will be deemed to have fulfilled the University’s prescribed English proficiency graduation requirements. For further details on the supporting measures, please refer to the implementation guidelines.

NOTE: These implementation guidelines apply to undergraduate students of the University, except for those in the Department of English Language, Literature and Linguistics, the Bachelor’s Program in Global Foreign Language Education, the Bachelor’s Program in International Business Administration, and the Bachelor’s Program in Intelligent Media & Innovative Technology Applications. These four departments/programs have their own prescribed English proficiency requirements.
